Client Overview
Our client is a prominent global player in the pharmaceutical industry, with headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. As part of their transformation with respect to culture and external perception, they focus on novel therapies in Oncology and Ophthalmology. Additionally, they are developing a world-leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology, boasting one of the most robust pipelines of Phase II/III studies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned manufacturing tasks in the manual packaging of clinical trial samples according to the production schedule, ensuring timely production of quality products in compliance with relevant GMP, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Manually label and package primary drug products for clinical trials.
- Execute all assigned activities according to the production plan and applicable GMP, labor, operational, environmental, and safety instructions and guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of batch documentation as part of production.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the production area, including workplace cleaning, organization, and adherence to 5S principles.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines (HSE).
- Apply current GMP rules and conduct process-related controls.
- Document all performed activities accurately on paper and in electronic batch documentation, according to GMP regulations.
- Show willingness for continuous improvement, analyze weaknesses, and propose improvements (organization, processes, safety, hygiene) at the production site.
- Participate in all function-relevant training and maintain required training levels.
- Manage or participate in continuous improvement projects aligned with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with other units and be open to working in other areas as needed (e.g., primary packaging, warehouse, label printing).
Candidate Requirements
- Valid working or residency permit, or Swiss/EU citizenship required.
- Experience in the GMP sector and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
- Independent, communicative, and flexible personality with a precise and reliable work style, even under time pressure.
- Team player with a strong team spirit.
- High sense of responsibility and attention to detail (documentation, workplace order, and cleanliness).
- Constructive work approach, flexibility, solutions-oriented mindset, and accountability for one's work, along with a deep understanding of quality.
- High self-motivation and quick comprehension to adapt to new tasks.
- Fine motor skills and enjoyment in precise work.
- Proficient in standard PC applications (MS Office); knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Good knowledge and experience in GMP environments and/or hygiene-sensitive areas.
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken; English skills are a plus.
